Calgary Birth Pool Rentals is an independent division of Tender Touches Doula Services Inc.
We have been offering professional birth pool rentals since 2014. Our pool rental journey began when we were attending home births, as Doulas, and had clients using leaky kiddie pools with no floor protection, pools without hoses, and pools with hoses but no tap adapters. (Imagine filling up a pool using a 5 gallon pail, in a sink or bathtub. Now imagine emptying a pool that way). Our clients deserved a smoother water birth experience; and their care providers, and attendants, deserved an easier, stream lined experience too. To date we've had rental clients from every midwifery practise in Calgary. Our pools have travelled as far north as Red Deer, and as far south as Black Diamond. They've been used at home births and hospital births; South Health Campus and High River Hospital. We pride ourselves on offering the most comprehensive pool rental package; the only thing we can't provide is the water.
